About the event

Step into the heart of the wild for a unique event combining wild berry foraging and hiking with our wild mustangs.

This is a relaxed, guided hike through scenic trails at our sanctuary.  We’ll take our time foraging wild blueberries, huckleberries, and/or blackberries!  Feel free to pick as many berries as you can eat and carry!

Afterwards, we’ll observe and connect with our wild horses in their natural habitat.   This guided hike is the perfect blend of nature, discovery, and connection with the herd.

What to bring/wear:

*Appropriate footwear that can get dirty (hiking boots with ankle support are recommended).  There are some mild hills and rough, rocky terrain on the hike.  If it’s rained recently, there can be lots of mud and there’s always plenty of horse presents :)

*Dress for the weather, we’ll be outdoors & moving slowly to reflect on our surroundings (hats, sunscreen, water, etc)
